Camp Jenée is directed by Mary Riecke and Don Armstrong. The retreat is implemented by a caring staff of volunteers! The staff of six has the following attributes: two are oncology nurses, three are cancer survivors, 5 of them were friends of Jenée, and 5 have been with the program since its inception in 1996!
On Saturday afternoon various volunteers join us at camp to help continue the magic that is Camp Jenée! We have 1-2 extra volunteers for arts and crafts, 4 volunteer golf cart drivers, 1-2 additional program volunteers, and 10-12 volunteer complementary modality practitioners (massage, healing touch, reiki, thai yoga massage, and massage therapists).
The dedicated staff and volunteers make the weekend possible for a very special group of people who come together to explore, share, and learn! It truly is a magical weekend!
